Everybody’s Experiences Are Different And Each Story Has Something To Teach
Being surrounded by some of the most important people in my life has helped me inculcate a lot of things in me. I wouldn’t say brawls were never a part of us because every relationship has its bad days. But I am glad that despite all the disagreements, it’s still going strong with some of them and I would like to cherish these people forever. I have been an extrovert since childhood hence mingling with people is my forte. I have realized that the more I meet new people the more my knowledge gets enhanced. Everybody’s experiences are different and each story has something to teach. Once I was travelling to Bangalore from Pune via an overnight bus where I came across a woman from Nepal. She was of my age so we bonded well. Initially, we asked each other about what we do in life and when our conversation got a little stretched she started telling me how the scenario was in Nepal in the year 2015. The country shattered completely due to the devastating earthquake. The woman said that she had gone to visit her family as she was on a vacation. But little did she know how the circumstances would be after a few days. The destruction was huge and the woman explained how they struggled until the situation was fixed. They didn't have access to anything. Stepping out of the house became a terror so, they were confined to their house. They somehow managed and survived and when she was explaining to me how things were, I could see the pain in her eyes. She didn't lose any of her family members during the earthquake as they made it through. And that's when I realized how essential it is to learn the technique of survival. It’s great to get an insight into the inspirational things that people do. And for that one needs to know them well. Inspiring stories don't always mean that it has to be incredible. A random trip to Leh Ladakh can also be admirable. I am happy that I have met a deluge of people in all these years and almost every one of them has taught me something or the other. The lessons were unfortunately not always positive but, I regret nothing.
