In the past few days, we spoke about a few railways stations which have gone through an immense amount of development. In fact, some of them look exactly like an airport now. And today we are going to talk about yet another great decision of the centre related to the railways. The Vaishno Devi devotees from Delhi have got a reason to rejoice as the Narendra Modi led government plans to launch the Vande-Bharat Express on the Delhi-Katra route soon.
The trial runs of the express train are expected to commence in the immediate future as reported by Zee News. Other trains take approximately 10 to 12 hours to reach Katra from Delhi but, the soon to be launched Vande-Bharat Express might take 8 hours to cover the same distance.
The train will depart from New Delhi station at 6 am and the arriving time in Katra will be 2 pm. In between, it will halt in Ambala, Ludhiana and Jammu Tavi. Vande Bharat express is said to run at a speed of 130kmph.
We at My Indian Dream are thankful to the government for making travelling via trains so convenient for the passengers. The developments that they have introduced in the past years are class apart.
