When a person goes to a police station to file a complaint, he/she expects to be heard and consoled. And the duty officers, at Kalu police station in Bikaner district make sure to give a good treatment to the people who come to them. Based on their performances and the way they carry out their duties, Kalu has become the best police station in India.
A total of 15,666 police stations were judged by the Union Ministry out of which Kalu emerged as the best one. The judgment was made on the basis of crime prevention, community policing, law and order and disposal of cases as reported by TOI.
Apart from the fantastic functioning of the police station, it has got an impressive infrastructure and the feedbacks received by the local citizens are also great. Therefore, an additional 20% marks were given to Kalu.
Right from convenient facilities for police personnel to a help desk for women, the police station has everything. Wi-fi servers are also available there.
The second position was secured by Campbell Bay police station situated in Nicobar district. And we at My Indian Dream want to congratulate the entire staff members of both the police stations for achieving something monumental. Hope they keep doing their work dutifully.
