A 14-year-old makes history by winning 1 crore in the KBC.
On the popular quiz program Kaun Banega Crorepati, a 14-year-old boy became the youngest winner of one crore. Mayank, a Class 8 student from Mahendragarh in Haryana, stunned viewers on the 15th edition of the show presented by Amitabh Bachchan by correctly answering the 16th question and winning the grand prize. Following his accomplishment, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar took to X to share his thoughts and even commended the boy. Mayank created history by becoming the youngest contestant ever to win ₹ 1 crore in the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He correctly answered the 16th question for ₹ 1 crore on the 15th edition of the iconic show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The show's creators posted a promo on X showing a confident and ambitious Mayank earning the grand prize. "The only thing that matters is your knowledge," says the young contender in the video. In the promo, Mr Bachchan also asks Mayank's parents about his outstanding performance. "He has also stressed his school teachers." "He's two steps ahead of them in class," his father jokes. Mayank demonstrated superb gaming in his quest to win the massive reward, winning 3.2 lakh without using any lifelines and used his first lifeline for the 12.5 lakh question. When asked about his job plans, Mayank says he wants to maintain no secrets in life and that the sky's the limit' when it comes to deciding on his future objectives. The sky's the highest thing; we can't easily reach there (actually, no one can), but its highest position inspires us to work hard and achieve as high as the sky. The second reason is that the sky can never be reached, so set your goals like the sky. You must never be satisfied with what you have accomplished, but must always persevere!
