Inspirational mountaineer Vennapusa Sreelatha from Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh is embarking on a remarkable journey to conquer Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. Born and raised in an agricultural family to V Venkata Chandra Reddy and Ayyavaramma, Sreelatha's journey began with scaling Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, where she hoisted the Indian flag. Her remarkable achievement earned her accolades from the Department of Youth Affairs, igniting her desire to take on even greater challenges. Having completed her degree from SKR and SKR Women's College in Kadapa, Sreelatha excelled in sports and won medals in kho kho and athletics. Her passion for adventure led her to pursue training in trekking and mountaineering, with specialized training in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, Sreelatha sets her sights on the ultimate mountaineering endeavor—conquering Mount Everest. She is seeking support from the government and private sponsors to make her dream a reality.
