Nasa’s Parker Solar Probe To Go Closest To The Sun
NASA is planning to launch a spacecraft that will get closest to the Sun than any other man-made object before. It’s Parker Solar Probe mission will begin its historic journey this summer when it will come within 4 million miles (6.4 million km) of the Sun's surface and will travel at a speed of around 725,000 kmph. One of its biggest challenges will be to battle an approximately 1,700-degree celsius heatwave while maintaining all the lab equipment at roughly room-temperature inside it. The spacecraft has been subjected to several tests to ensure an error-free flight. It has a Solar probe Cup that will scoop up samples from high energy particles escaping the Sun.
