Ganga To Be Cleaned Before Kumbh Mela
Nitin Gadkari, Union minister on Wednesday gave a statement saying, Namami Gange will be completed soon.The Namani Gange is an Integrated Conservation Programme which will help in cleaning the rivers. According to the plan, Rs.20,000 crore will be spent on cleaning the River Ganga before Kumbh Mela. About 47 out of 189 projects have been completed already and the ministry aims at the completing all the projects for cleaning the River Ganga soon said Gadkari at a gathering in Allahabad. Kumbh Mela will be held at Sanga, Allahabad and is said to be one of the biggest gatherings of the world. About 100 million come together at the shores of River Ganges to celebrate the festival.
