Kashmir's Gulshan Books Makes A Record.

Situated near the beautiful Dal Lake is the Gulshan Books, a bookstore for all. This bookstore that consists of 80,000 books provides you a calm atmosphere with a scenic view that every reader can enjoy.  Gulshan Books is the only bookstore in the country located near a lake. The store was established in 2016 with an aim to promote reading after 2014 floods in Kashmir.  Currently, the bookshop has a reading room with a cafe where they can sip on their coffee and enjoy their reading session. One can reach the bookstore in a shikara.  The bookstore got it's record in the Limca Book Of Records which came as a surprise to the owner, Ahmed and he only looks forward to maintaining the literary heritage in Kashmir.
