These Easy And Delectable Oats Recipes Are A Must Try
Thinking of a healthy breakfast option? What can be better than oats? Yes, a lot of you must be thinking right now that the cereal grain is a quite common food to eat but, did you know that it can be made in several ways? Many people don’t like the bland taste of it but, making it taste delectable is in your hands. So, let’s talk about a few ways of preparing oats that taste nothing short of mouthwatering. Uttapam is loved by most people and it’s a great option for breakfast. But have you ever eaten oats uttapam? If not give it a try and you will love it. To prepare it, all you have to do is grind cooking oats into flour form and then add sooji or rava along with salt and water into it. Make a paste out of it and leave it for a while. Then take a pan, heat it up and add a little bit of oil and pour the batter on it and spread it like uttapam. You can add your choices of vegetables on it and cook both the sides well and serve hot. There are days when you don’t feel like making a fancy breakfast and oats with butter and pepper is a perfect recipe to make during such days. Just take a pan and add water according to the quantity of oats and let it boil a bit. When the little bubbles start appearing add the oats and let it cook for a while and then add a little butter and sprinkle it with pepper. It's easy to cook and also tastes really good. I love making different types of oats recipes so I try out something or the other frequently. Lately, I started making dark chocolate overnight oats and it tastes out of the world. Overnight oats supposed to be made a night before so that the cereal grain absorbs the flavour. In order to prepare it, what I do is take a bowl and add 5 to 6 tablespoons of oats. And then put half a cup of milk along with a little flax seed powered, one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder and one tablespoon of honey or maple syrup. Then cover the bowl with foil and put it inside the fridge. I add some bananas and almond to it the next morning and have it cold. Have you ever eaten oats omlette? I was a little sceptical about it first but, when a friend of mine fed it to me I totally loved the taste. So, the next time if you are thinking of making an omlette add oats to your egg mixture along with some veggies and fry it in a pan. Serve with multi-grain bread to have a complete healthy breakfast. A cup of milk, oats along with a banana and honey make a delectable smoothie. Put everything in your mixer blender to make it. Its taste won’t disappoint you at.
