A daring feat, a record-breaking journey —meet Saneed P P, the 23-year-old from Kannur, Kerala, who just completed an incredible 5,000-kilometer ride across India -without a front wheel! What most would consider a short-lived stunt, Saneed transformed into a powerful journey from Kanyakumari to the Umling La pass in Ladakh, the world’s highest motorable road. For Saneed, this wasn’t just a stunt—it was a bold statement. He Chose To Take Control Of His Ride Toward Chilling Adventures ~ "I did it to raise awareness about drug abuse, which is a major threat to society today," Saneed said. "My journey's peculiarity draws attention to my message as well as to me." Saneed is accustomed to performing such exploits as a professional stunt rider. After eight years in this industry, he claimed that doing wheelies and other feats comes naturally to him. Because of his abilities, he was even cast in the movie Thallumala as Kalyani Priyadarshan's stunt double. But the trip, which started on December 15 of last year, wasn't without its challenges. According to Saneed, "back and stiff neck pain were constant companions." "I also had to seek medical attention at the nearby Army base after being knocked down by a gust of wind in Hanle (Ladakh)." However, this accident turned out to be fortuitous, providing him with the unique chance to celebrate Diwali alongside warriors. This was Saneed's second encounter with the uniformed men. The Borders Roads Organization had previously invited him as a guest to attend a ceremony at Wagah while he was traveling through Punjab. "I had the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities in front of a sizable audience. And the soldiers, too! I will always treasure that moment, and it is the greatest honor I could have," Saneed remarked. The frigid weather made camping outside more challenging as he moved north. particularly along the Drass in Ladakh, one of the coldest inhabited regions on earth, and the Zojila Pass in Kashmir. I had been spending the night in tents up until that point, close to dhabas, gas stations, or any place with restrooms. Because of the cold, this was no longer feasible. However, when people saw Saneed's situation, they welcomed him into their homes. "They were friendly and eager to assist me wherever I went," he recalled. The nights in Ladakh, however, where he caught a glimpse of the Milky Way spanning the sky, were arguably the most breathtaking. "It was enchanting!" Still spellbound by the memories, Saneed said. At Umling La Pass on Wednesday, he unfurled the Indian flag he had brought with him as his epic trip came to an end. For the past three years, this voyage has been my dream. I'm really happy to finally realize it," he said. However, Saneed won long before he crossed the finish line.Saneed promises that his quest is far from complete now that he is back in Kannur.
