World’s First White Tiger Safari In Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh is no doubt, one of India’s most popular wildlife destination with some famous national parks like the Bandhavgarh National park and the Kanha National Park. Now, the Madhya Pradesh wildlife tourism has got a boost with the introduction of the world’s first White Tiger Safari in Mukundpur Forest of Rewa. White tigers are an endangered species and efforts are in place to conserve and protect them. Visitors at the Mukundpur Forest in Rewa can not only enjoy a white tiger safari but also will be able to explore a lesser-known wildlife destination like the Mukundpur Forest in Rewa. The Mukundpur Forest is located at a distance of around 14 km from Rewa city. It is one of the very few places in the country where the extremely rare white tiger species is found. The first of this species of the tiger was spotted in this forest in 1951 by Maharaja Martand Singh. Though Mukundpur forest in Rewa is an offbeat destination, it is all set to be famous, thanks to the introduction of the white tiger safari which will be the star attraction. One can explore many more attractions in Rewa like the Rewa Fort, Govindgarh palace, Royal Museum and Pili Kothi.
