Showcasing Talent Through Food

The Trans Pride Food Truck offers the inclusive flavours of food in Coimbatore. A transgender social worker, Taslima Nasrin is breaking taboos regarding transgenders by running a Trans Pride Food Truck in Coimbatore.  Having a love for cooking since childhood, Taslima had a joyous time cooking and serving meals in her van for the students of a city college campus.  The Trans Pride Food Truck is an initiative started by students which travel to 10 colleges in the city breaking taboos about transgenders.  Taslima Nasrin, Suchitra and Yamini, the trio that runs the food truck are happy to serve and cook for students. They believe that this chance has made them see the society from a different view and vice versa.
