Sand Artist Sudarshan Pattnaik Comes Up With Yet Another Masterpiece On This Earth Day
It has been 49 years since Earth Day was celebrated for the very first time and even today the objective to promote the importance of preserving our planet remains strong. Many people urge others to take critical actions against environment destruction while some express the condition of our mother earth through their art. Last year the theme for Earth Day was ‘End Plastic Pollution’ and sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik did utmost justice to the subject. He made a sand sculpture of a crocodile with a plastic bottle which indicated how we are polluting the water bodies. This year again he came up with another masterpiece which portrayed how our planet is getting affected. The theme for this year’s Earth Day is ‘Protect Our Species’ and to depict the subject, Sudarshan portrayed two of the most crucial problems, global warming and cutting down of trees or deforestation. He took to his Twitter handle today to post the picture of his art. Generating awareness about conserving our environment can educate several people.
