Vadodara Students Spread Happiness
Ever thought who attended to people at supermarkets or petrol pumps during Diwali festivities. During Diwali, people love to spend their time with near and dear ones and celebrate. However, there are many who sacrifice their Diwali festivities so that others can have fun. In acknowledgment of this kind gesture, the BBA Students Association (BBASA) of MS University spread happiness this festive season by distributing gifts to all those who were carrying on their duty and serving people. The students under the venture 'Khusiyon ka tohfa' joined hands with volunteers of the Change Vadodara Campaign and Hand Made Hope to distribute gifts to nearly 300 persons including the traffic police, security guards, employees who work with roadside eateries, daily wagers, petrol pump workers, specially abled workers and the vigilance staff of MSU. Aayush Udhwani, president of BBASA said that it was an attempt to bring cheer to all those people who work hard so that others could enjoy the festive season. A total of 100 volunteers had participated in this noble initiative. The gift hamper included sweets, diyas and greeting cards prepared by slum children and BBA students. Udhwani added that he was proud of his students and appreciated them for taking out time on the festival day to participate in the initiative.
