Breaking The Stereotype - First Woman To Compete In Kashmir's Snow Car Rally

Dr Sharmeen Mushtaq, a medical professional has blown away the minds of many by participating in the risky snow car rally called 'Frozen Rush' in Gulmarg.      The race mainly focuses men. Sharmeen will be the first woman to break this stereotype and challenge men. In an interview, she expressed her excitement towards the race and how she has been waiting to showcase her 20-year-old driving experience in the car rally. When asked how does she relate her profession with driving, she answered saying, "Why not? If you have it in you  and you are provided with a well - structured platform to show your skills then you must give it a try at least." ‎Let's hope after seeing Dr Sharmeen we see more women taking a lead in such rallies and changing frozen mindsets.
