Rahul Rajkhowa's Commendable Initiative To Help The Assam Flood Victims
The state of Assam is facing one of its darkest days and the people are finding it very difficult to cope with the current situation. The condition is getting worse with every passing day due to the critical floods. Business Today reported that the death toll escalated to 15 and 30 out of 33 districts in the state have been affected. And amid the devastating situation, musician Rahul Rajkhowa is trying his utmost to do his part. Assam was drowning in 2017 as well as the state was hit by a major flood back then too. During the same year Rahul and his friend, Himanshu Arya visited the highly affected areas. He observed what the people went through and made a music video of the destructive condition. The video depicted the disastrous condition of the state and its lyrics will give you goosebumps. There comes a part in the song which says, “Water water water everywhere, not a single drop to drink but, do you care?” left us with misty eyes. Rahul’s video garnered a lot of recognition. He even got invited to a conference where he came across several NGOs. Through the heart-wrenching video, Rahul is trying his best to connect the donors to the non-profit organizations so that they can contribute to the victims of the flood. There is an immense scarcity of water in Assam now and it only breaks our heart. Rahul is urging people every day to come forward and contribute. You can put a big smile on their faces by doing your part. If you want to reach out to Rahul, here is a link to his Twitter handle. Keep Assam in your prayers.
