Rajesh Oza, a former Class 12 dropout, has become a beacon of hope for tribal communities in Rajasthan through his groundbreaking venture, Tribalveda. In 2016, Rajesh faced a challenging period while searching for employment opportunities in Mumbai due to his limited education. However, this setback became the catalyst for his transformative journey. Returning to his village, Bera, Rajesh saw an opportunity to uplift the local farmers who struggled to sell their produce within a narrow time frame to avoid spoilage. Founded in October 2021, Tribalveda aimed to provide a sustainable solution for the farmers of Bera. Although convincing the farmers to collaborate was a daunting task, Rajesh's perseverance paid off. By taking charge of the produce, negotiating fair prices in the markets, and sharing the profits with the farmers, he gained their trust and support. Tribalveda works closely with the farmers, assisting them in various aspects of the jamun processing chain, including identification, harvesting, collection, storage, grading, sorting, washing, processing, and packaging. The brand's products are then sold at market prices, resulting in a revenue of Rs 2 crores. Rajesh's inspiring journey demonstrates the power of entrepreneurship and social impact. With his vision and dedication, he has not only transformed the lives of the tribal women but also created a sustainable business model that has the potential to uplift countless communities.
