Parekh's latest achievement, "Mehndikrit Ramayan," has not only earned her recognition in the prestigious Asia Book of Records but has also garnered admiration for its unique portrayal of Indian mythology through the medium of mehndi. By intricately weaving the stories of the Ramayana onto the hands of 51 women using Warli art, Parekh has breathed new life into age-old tales, captivating audiences with her innovative approach. Nimisha Parekh hails from Surat, Gujarat and has over three decades of professional experience. As the Co-Founder of MehndiCultr, she has spearheaded innovative strides in the industry, introducing concept-based mehndi designs over trend-focused traditional ones. One such example is her "Beauty in Binary" mehndi, created for an NRI bride, which ingeniously blends tradition with technology. Parekh went to the lengths of acquiring knowledge of the binary language. By translating the bride's emotions and significant life events into binary code and weaving them into intricate designs, Parekh has demonstrated the transformative power of mehndi art in bridging cultural divides. Beyond her artistic endeavors, Parekh remains deeply committed to empowering women through her work. By providing employment opportunities and promoting awareness about the cultural significance of mehndi, she seeks to uplift communities and foster a sense of pride in Indian traditions. One Woman's Journey to Inspire: Ramila's Courageous Solo Expedition Around the Globe

Ramila Latpate, a 27-year-old woman from Chinchwad, Pune, is defying the odds and breaking barriers as she embarks on a solo motorcycle journey around the world. What makes this journey even more extraordinary is that Ramila is wearing a traditional Maharashtrian Nauvari Saree, symbolizing her pride and commitment to showcasing Indian culture, particularly that of Maharashtra. Her journey is not only about exploring the world but also about promoting and preserving the traditions and unique products of her homeland. Her journey began on International Women's Day, March 8, 2023, from Mumbai's Gateway of India. Ramabai plans to traverse about 100,000 kilometers through 20-30 countries, covering roughly 40 countries across six continents, before returning to India on March 8, 2024. Her route includes several G20 countries and some of the world's most beautiful cities. Ramila Latpate's mission is to showcase the unique products and traditions of Maharashtra and promote Indian culture everywhere she goes. She believes that her journey will inspire young women to dream big and reach for the stars. Ramabai is not only an entrepreneur and pilot, but so a brave and adventurous woman who is determined to prove that anything is possible if you have the courage and determination to pursue your dreams. Her journey will take her through some of the world's most challenging terrains, including deserts, mountains, and jungles, where she will have to rely on her map-reading skills and survival instincts to stay safe. Despite the challenges she will face along the way, Ramila Latpate is undaunted and excited to explore the world and promote Indian culture. She has already spent all her savings and sold her car and gold jewelery to finance the trip, but her determination and courage have inspired many people to support her cause. She has engaged elected officials and corporate communities and is crowdfunding her journey to cover the expenses. Ghaat Sandhya- a platform to showcase talent

Ghaat Sandhya, an event that was introduced along the lines of Subah-e-Banaras, has become popular and many budding artists are participating in it to showcase their talent. Earlier the Subah-e-Banaras was started which is now nearing its 1000 th day. As it was a grand success, the district cultural committee introduced Ghaat Sandhya from February 1. The event is usually held in the evening and so far, more than 75 dancers, including foreign nationals, have performed at the evening event. Many photographers and painters have displayed their art at the otherwise not-so-popular Reeva and Ganga Mahal ghats. On Monday, which was the 69th evening Odissi danseuse Amrita Adhikary gave a hour long performance. Local artist Ani Tripathi held a photography exhibition which drew large crowds. Earlier on Saturday, a splendid performance was given by Rafaela Tanner, who was first to introduce Bollywood culture to Switzerland. This is the brainchild of Chief development officer Pulkit Khare. He said that the city has iconic ghats, but most of them lie neglected and remain filthy. Ghat Sandhya is an attempt to provide a platform for upcoming artists in all classical and semi-classical dance forms, promoting tourism, maintaining these ghats and providing a beautiful evening experience to the denizens. He said that Ghaat Sandhya is a larger and a different version of Subah-e-Banaras.
