Narendra Modi to visit U.S. on June 26, his first meet under Donald Trump’s administration
On June 26, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United States for a meet up with American President Donald Trump. This is Narendra Modi’s first visit to U.S. under Trump’s administration. The meeting will aim at discussing a range of issues. It will provide a directed bilateral relationship. India will also present its concerns over changes in H1B visas. This will be the first time that the two leaders will meet. The official talks will involve discussions over the bilateral engagement between India and the U.S. The talks will focus on deeper involvement in the issues of mutual trust and strengthening of the strategic partnership between the two nations. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had mentioned in her last week’s annual press conference that Narendra Modi will raise all the issues in his official meet with Donald Trump. Taking into the fact that U.S. and India are on the same page over the threat of terrorism, important talks related to security and changing scenarios due to terrorism will be also discussed. Prominent amongst the talks will be the Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and other international issues pertaining to security and much more. The visit is announced from June 25 and there is a lot to look forward to their meet up.
