The Swarved Mahamandir, Varanasi's fresh symbol of spirituality is the largest meditation center in the world!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 18, inaugurated the ‘Swarved Mahamandir’, the world's largest meditation center, in Umaraha, Varanasi. The inauguration of this architectural wonder marked a significant addition to the spiritual landscape of the sacred city. The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanat. PM Modi in his speech, highlighted India's historical prowess in economic and physical development. He underscored ongoing efforts by the government, society, and spiritual leaders to revitalize Kashi, the ancient city of Varanasi. The Swarved Mahamandir soars seven floors high and accommodates up to 20,000 devotees for meditation. Adorned with intricate marble carvings and lotus-shaped domes, this structure seamlessly blends Varanasi's cultural heritage with contemporary design. Engraved within the Mahamandir's walls are verses from the Swarveda, authored by Sadguru Shri Sadafal Deoji Maharaj, the eternal yogi and founder of Vihangam Yoga. The temple derives its name from this spiritual text, aiming to radiate a profound spiritual aura and foster a global atmosphere of serene awareness. The Swarved Mahamandir serves as a beacon for Brahm Vidya, championing the teachings of Swarveda to empower seekers on their spiritual journey. It advocates unwavering peace and perpetual happiness as the ultimate goals, guiding individuals towards a state of unparalleled tranquility. Honoring Heroes: A Touching Tribute to Canadian Soldiers in England

Stunning red maple trees along the A3 highway in Hampshire, England, serve as a poignant tribute to 418 Canadian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice defending freedom during the two World Wars. These autumnal beauties silently commemorate the lives lost by lining the road, creating a sacred war memorial that often goes unnoticed by passing motorists. Imported from Canada, the red maples replaced sycamore trees that were previously planted there but had to be removed due to safety concerns. Each of the 418 maples is twinned with a soldier's grave, symbolizing the deep connection between the fallen soldiers and the trees that now stand in their honor. Those who died in World War I rest in Bramshott Churchyard and St Joseph's Catholic Church in Grayshott, while the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II were laid to rest at Brookwood Military Cemetery in Surrey. The commemorative trees hold significant historical and emotional value, representing the strong ties between Canada and the United Kingdom. The scarlet maple leaf, an iconic symbol on the Canadian flag, not only adds a seasonal crimson tribute but also serves as a reminder of Canada's role in the World Wars. Since their planting in 1995, the red maple trees have become a place for remembrance and reflection. A pedestrian underpass was constructed in 2008, allowing people to safely pay their respects and marvel at the solemn beauty of the memorial. India is a land of culture, traditions, stories and legends. There are many rich architectures and sculptures which have a story to tell everyone. Ancient architects, engineers and craftsmen were very talented and had deep profound knowledge in their field. Many architecturally intelligent monuments were made with stunning characteristics which even the modern science can’t find an answer to. One such is Rani ki Vav which is in Patna, Gujarat. Known for its high architectural skill the monument has an inverted temple with seven stages of stairs and marvellous sculptures with royal chambers. The mystery is how did they make an inverted temple? There are many such mysteries of monuments in India. In this article we will know about such mysterious temples. Kailasa Temple Kailasa temple is located in Ellora, Maharashtra. This temple is a magnificent architecture with lots of intricate designs and sculptures. It is the 16th cave temple of the 32 cave temples and monasteries which are together called the famous Ellora caves. The marvellous fact is that such a huge temple has been made by carving out an entire mountain! Chiselling an entire mountain for making such detailed, intricate sculptural carvings might have took a century or more. But making such an amazing architecture in 756 BC is hard to accept as it was a time when technology didn’t exist. Archaeologists say that the monument couldn’t be made only by humans. They say the craftsmen might have taken some extra-terrestrial help or used an alien technology for construction! Sugali Mata Temple Sugali Mata Temple is situated in Marwar, Rajasthan. There is a very weird story behind the deity sculpture of the temple. The necks of the deities’ sculptures here always remain tilted. Many trials have been made by many sculptors to straighten the necks but eventually in course of time the necks get tilted! Also the sculptors who try to change the sculpture’s neck fall sick. No one yet has been able to understand the reason for the same. Can all this be a mere coincidence or there is something supernatural behind it? What do you think? Rang Mahal Temple Rang Mahal Temple is situated amongst dense forest called Nidhivan of Vrindavan. What makes the temple a mysterious place is the abnormal activities noticed in the vicinity of the temple. As the temple is amidst dense forest, the trees in the forest have hollow barks and are dry but only the trees near the temple remain green throughout the year! Also no tree stands upright. All are bending towards the ground as if they are bowing to someone. The temple is shut every evening after the prayers. When the temple is opened the next morning, the sweets, fruits in the temple are half eaten and clothes are used. How is this possible when the temple is completely shut and no one enters the jungle after evening! Locals are even afraid to see what happens inside the temple every night. Puri Jagannath Temple Puri Jagannath Temple is located in Puri, Odisha. This temple is a beautifully made architecture. But there are some weird facts about this temple to which even the modern science has no answer. One can’t see the shadow of the temple at any time of day. Also the flag at the top of the temple flutters in direction opposite to the breeze! No birds fly above the Jagannath temple and even in its vicinity. Also when you are outside the Singh Dwara’s entrance, you can hear the whisper of ocean. But the moment you enter inside, the sound is not heard. People who visit the temple verify this.

Stories of Joy and Sorrow: How Block-level Clubs in Jharkhand Help the Elderly Deal with Loneliness

Narayan Poddar, a sixty-year-old man, looks upon a group of attentive students. Taking them back sixty years, he begins to tell them stories of his days as a student. His audience is the Jamtara Deputy Commissioner, Faiz Ahmed Mumtaz, who is listening with rapt attention. Mumtaz has been instrumental in setting up block-level clubs in each of Jharkhand’s six blocks. Through these clubs, the elderly can spend time together and share their sorrows and joys. Poddar, the president of the elders club in Narayanpur block, is one of the many who benefit. About 10% of Jharkhand’s population (nine lakh) is over the age of sixty. With these clubs, the elderly can engage in activities like reading, playing board games and watching television, combatting loneliness and sharing stories. Mumtaz’s efforts were recognized and he was awarded The Indian Express Excellence in Governance Awards. The biennial awards recognize the outstanding work done by District Magistrates, men and women who are regarded as the backbone of the government and who direct change that affects the lives of countless people all over the nation. The cost of renovating each building for the club was 3-3.5 lakhs, with other amenities such as TVs and refrigerators being crowd-sourced. Each of the 25 members at the Narayanpur club takes on the responsibility to maintain the club.  While some people clean, others water the plants, and some people, like Poddar, chat with the occasional visitor. They all have stories to tell, which is something they have in common. Poddar remarks, “I talk to my friend. I try to understand what his faith is. He tries to understand mine.” The block-level clubs in Jharkhand are a gift of togetherness, bringing the elderly out of loneliness and offering them a platform to share their wisdom and experiences.

This Hunger Warrior Doesn’t Want a Single Child to Go Hungry

When India is making giant strides in progress and development, it is sad that more than 600 million people in the country still go to bed hungry while many cannot afford even a proper meal in a day. The number of malnourished children in the country is also alarming. The government is doing its best to help the poor and hungry people by providing them food through midday meals and Indira canteens. However, it has not been able to successfully alleviate the problem. Therefore, many responsible and concerned citizens have pitched in to feed the hungry and one such person is Chinu Kwatra.  Roti Ghar Chinu Kwatra is an MBA graduate and founder of Roti Ghar which he commenced with the help of a few volunteers from his NGO Khushiyaan Foundation. He first started with a centralized kitchen that was monitored by his father. Initially, they fed a hundred children in a day. Along with food, he also thought them basic hygiene. It became his primary aim to provide marginalized sections with nutrition-packed meals. Soon the number increased to 1000 children and he hopes to extend his service to other states as well. Noble Initiative Kwatra started this noble initiative with many important things in his mind. First of all, he didn’t want to harm the environment, so he told the children to bring their own vessels. Along with rice, dal and pickle, he has also started serving a boiled egg, keeping in mind the nutritional requirements of the children. The volunteers taught them some basic rules like forming a queue and washing hands before eating. They also provided them with toothpaste, toothbrush and sanitary pads for menstrual hygiene. Kwatra now intends to start medical camps for the benefit of the less fortunate children. The country needs more such dedicated people like Chinu Kwatra and his team who are sacrificing their time, energy and resources to pacify the hunger of underprivileged children.

Know More About Robochef That Prepares Mouthwatering Delicacies in Bulk Quantities With Automated Technology

A startup in Chennai is using automated technology to prepare food in bulk quantities, thus saving a lot of time and effort. Saravanan Sundaramoorthy informs that he and his team have pre-programmed nearly 600 dishes into Robochef. Robochef is a massive stainless steel structure wherein one only has to feed the raw materials like vegetables, spices, oil etc and the machine will promptly prepare the dish without any further human intervention, thus eliminating the cost of cooks as well as saving time. Robochef Robochef  is a big machine with belts carrying containers and utensils that function through sensors tuned to computer codes. The ingredients for a particular dish is loaded into the machine and the computer initiates the cooking process. It is equipped with an automated twin headed spatula for stirring. It is so efficient that one need not even chop or clean the vegetables. The entire cooking process from cleaning ingredients, chopping, frying, adding spices, stirring, etc. is entirely done by the machine. Saves Cost And Time Robochef can replace a large number of cooks thus saving labour cost. It can prepare delicious dishes in bulk quantities which helps to save time as well. At present, the startup has tied up with caterers who supply in bulk to events and hotels. According to Saravanan, the product has helped them to improve their gains. The domestic variant of Robochef costs Rs 6 lakh and it has already found a few customers. In the future, Robochef could be a boon to homemakers and working women as it will relieve them from the daily task of cooking so that they could find more time for themselves. Himachal Pradesh to Become a Model State for Electric Vehicle Adoption

Himachal Pradesh aims to become a model state for Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption providing sustainable, safe, eco-friendly, inclusive and integrated mobility. This was conveyed by Chief Secretary, Shrikant Baldi at a meeting on Himachal’s Electric Vehicle Policy- 2019. In the meeting, a target was set for the state to achieve 100 per cent transition to Electric Vehicles by 2030. This is in line with the United Nation’s sustainable development goals and vision of the Government of India. Policy Objective Baldi said that the policy was framed with the objective of environment protection, accelerating demand for EVs, promotion of a sustainable transport system and creation of public-private charging infrastructure for EV’s. It aims to create a conducive atmosphere for a transition to EVs by encouraging the use of hybrid EVs and creation of new employment opportunities. Charging Infrastructure One of the main challenges of adopting electric mobility is to provide proper and adequate charging infrastructure. Baldi said that the policy aims to promote the creation of dedicated infrastructure for charging of EVs. This involves the development of a viable business model to attract private players to set up EV charging stations and infrastructure. He said that the policy has also included provisions to set up charging spots in commercial buildings such as hotels and shopping malls. Plans are being made to manufacture the vehicles locally with the State Government’s decision to provide incentives to EV batteries and related components manufacturing and disposal in the Sate. While most of the countries in the world are speeding up their efforts to adopt electric mobility for sustainable development, Himachal Pradesh will become a model state for electric vehicle adoption in India which other states may emulate and implement.
