A Vision That Went Beyond Sight

Born in 1991 in a farming family with humble means, Srikanth was met with societal doubts from the very beginning. People questioned his future, but he had something more powerful than sight, an unstoppable vision. Education became his ladder to success. He excelled at the Devnar School for the Blind in Hyderabad, then moved on to the Royal Junior College. However, when he wanted to pursue science, he faced a roadblock, one that said, “A visually impaired student can't study science.” But Srikanth wasn’t one to accept “no” as an answer. He challenged the system and proved everyone wrong, becoming the first international blind student to study at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With a degree in business management, he had only one goal, to create opportunities for those who had been told they had none.

From Darkness to Greatness: The Unstoppable Srikanth

In 2012, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries, a Hyderabad-based company with a mission to do good for both the planet and people. The company manufactures eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging materials, reducing environmental waste while also providing employment opportunities to hundreds of differently-abled individuals. Today, Bollant Industries is a thriving $150 million company that not only stands for sustainability but also for inclusivity. 

A life as inspiring as Srikanth’s had to be told on the big screen. Bollywood took notice, and in 2024, the film "Srikanth" was released, with the talented Rajkummar Rao portraying his journey. The movie became a ray of hope for many, showing that courage, perseverance, and an unbreakable spirit can defy all odds.

In 2025, Srikanth stepped into a whole new role, a judge on Shark Tank India Season 4! His journey, from overcoming barriers to breaking them, made him the perfect mentor for aspiring entrepreneurs. He sees beyond business ideas; he sees people, passion, and potential. He believes in fostering innovation that solves real-world problems, whether social, environmental, or technological. His presence on Shark Tank has already made waves. He’s not just another judge, he’s a symbol of perseverance. In one of his social media posts, he summed it up perfectly:
