Elon Musk's X is formally joining the generative AI race. "Grok," xAI's first chatbot, is currently undergoing limited testing in preparation for a soon-to-be wider launch among X Premium+ subscribers. When discussing the purpose of introducing this chatbot, a crucial issue has been made clear. Who else besides Musk is driving xAI?

Grok is currently limited to a small number of users in the US and is still in its beta phase.
