Bhagwani Devi Dagar, a 95-year-old Indian woman, has left the world awestruck with her spectacular performance at the 9th World Athletics Indoor Championship 2023 held in Poland. This nonagenarian has proved that age is just a number by winning not one, but three gold medals in the 60-meter running, shot put, and discus throw categories. Her incredible feat has brought glory to India, making her a national inspiration.
In a video shared by Dagar herself, she is seen running with the tricolor on her back, proudly wearing her gold medals. Her heartening achievement has left netizens with goosebumps and garnered praise from Union Minister for Sports Anurag Thakur.
