Udaipur scholar-boy Kalpit Veerwal created a history by scoring 100 percent in the reputed and prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. This 17-year-old scholar-boy will now be highlighted in the Limca Book of Records 2018 edition, under the "Education Achievements" category for his unbelievable cent percent result.
Achieving a score of 360/360 that too in JEE Main exams is truly outstanding. Proud father Pushpendra Veerwal works at the Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital in Rajasthan's Udaipur and mother Pushpa is a school teacher in a Government school. Kalpit's elder brother is in Jodhpur studying MBBS from AIIMS. Presently Kalpit is studying Computer Science at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay
More than 10.2 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main 2017 exam out of which 2.20 lakh students were able to appear for JEE Advance 2017 depending on their scores.
Now, what is the secret of Kalpit's unbelievable achievement? While talking to PTI he said,"I did not study for 15 hours a day, I did not go down the usual 'Kota route' for IIT preparations but consistent studies helped me a lot". Earlier he has also topped the Indian Junior Science Olympiad and National Talent Search Examination.
No doubt Udaipur scholar-boy Kalpit is truly an inspiration for many.
