Himachal Pradesh is on the course of becoming a tuberculosis free state by 2022. Health minister Vipin Singh Parmar made this statement in Palampur on Monday during the launch of a campaign to locate active TB cases in Kangra, Bilaspur and Hamirpur districts.
The campaign will run for 15 days where 654 teams will cover 1,53,654 people to detect and cure active cases of tuberculosis. The health department has TB detection machines which can detect the disease within 2 hours.
