Aurora Borealis, Norway ~

Also called the 'Northern Lights,' this sky thing makes pretty green and purple light streaks that move in the dark sky. The streaks light up the sky putting people in a trance of wonder and respect for the earth. Earth's magnetic field hitting the sun's rays causes it, like nature's own light show. North Norway for sure has the best and most steady chances to see the northern lights, as this part of the country sits under the auroral oval. One spot in this area is as good as another – you can see the same northern lights in Lofoten as in Tromso, 500 kilometres up north just from a different view. But, the aurora shows up in other parts of the country too now and then even in Trondelag and South Norway when the sun is more active. You need to be patient when looking for the northern lights. To have a better shot at seeing them, remember that the lights happen most often in late fall and winter/early spring (from September to late March), between 6 pm and 1 am. When the light show makes the sky bright, it's worth taking a picture!
Bioluminescent Beach, Maldives ~

The Maldives has some of the nicest beaches with white sand and blue water. It's enough to make you love the sea forever. At night, the ocean turns into something magical. It appears as if the stars come down to the shore to make the glowing beaches sparkle like fairy dust. The edges of the beaches start to shine, like blue fireflies in the water. This glow happens because of bioluminescence, which is light given off by tiny sea creatures. The waves wash them up and they float on top. To see this cool natural thing, the best spot is Sea of Stars Beach on the Raa Atoll in the Maldives.
Rainbow Mountain, Perun ~

The Rainbow Mountain, or Vinicunca, is a cool natural sight in Cusco, Peru. People found it in 2013 when the ice melted. It's now one of the country's top spots for tourists to visit because it's so unique and pretty. What makes this mountain stand out is its amazing colors. The mountain's surface has a mix of pinks, reds, greens, blues, yellows, and browns looking like something from a storybook. You'd think it came straight from a candy world. These colors come from different minerals that built up over time.
Diamond Beach, Iceland ~

When you go to Diamond Beach, you'll think you're on another planet. It's got black sand with ice pieces that shine like diamonds coming from the Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier. The ice chunks look just like diamonds because of how they're shaped. This place is like something out of a dream. You can find the beach on Iceland's south coast. There's a nice breeze that blows through your hair, it's peaceful even with the loud waves hitting the shore, and you can smell the wet untouched sand. The view is awesome and shows how cool nature can be. Diamond Beach might be one of the prettiest beaches out there. The amazing ice-covered beach will blow you away as soon as you see it. It's something you have to see once in your life and you shouldn't miss it if you're traveling along Iceland's south coast. Everyone should put this beach on their list of places to visit.
