A lot of us have forgotten about stillness, or even dread it. There is a lot of noise and chaos in our environment. a world where obligations and diversions abound in our everyday activities. More than just gaining control is behind projecting the power of quiet in your mind before it starts, making decisions, and seeing them come to pass. Ultimately, you gain confidence and a better sense of self as you witness your vision come to pass. You gain self-confidence, the ability to rely on your judgment, and more security in the face of uncertainty and bustle.
Quiet is not void; rather, it is replete with solutions:
We as a culture have lost the ability to remain silent and motionless. We never stop moving, being occupied, and doing. We no longer know how to just exist. Our lives are rife with this absence of quiet. It's best to avoid just sitting in quiet at the times when people engage in pointless small talk about the weather. To prevent just sitting in solitude, we use our phones to occupy our brains while on the train and to fill our ears with music. However, embracing silence is essential. It serves as a pause between the chaos, allowing us to reflect, contemplate, and delve deeper into the intricacies of our lives.
Utilize the Quiet to Deal with Your Racing Thoughts:
Fast-moving, frequently repeating mental processes are known as racing thoughts. They could be too much to handle. These ideas could be monosyllabic or represent several distinct schools of thinking. Your mind can be racing with worries about money, a painful experience, or a fear. These ideas could also intensify. Having racing thoughts might make you feel more anxious or uneasy and make it difficult to focus.
In global language, silence serves its purpose. It exudes solemnity, promotes introspection, and lets knowledge and experiences sink in.
‘’Not one person in a hundred knows how to be silent and listen, no, nor even to conceive what such a thing means. Yet, only then can you detect, beyond the foolish screams ,the silence of which the universe is made.’’ —Samuel Beckett
