"Dream, Dream, Dream! Conduct these dreams into thoughts, and then transform them into action."

A day becomes productive when you do something fruitful and you live life a little more when you become the reason behind a happy face. Many of us start planning the weekend beforehand because it’s the perfect time to let loose and rejuvenate. Therefore, self-pampering or outing becomes mandatory. But, how many of us think of taking time out for the ones who constantly look for love and care? A group of Bengalureans volunteered for a cause this Sunday and made the day brighter for the inmates of Fosa Humanitarian Hospital.
The members of Share A Smile NGO gathered at the hospital for a cook and feed drive. They spoke with the inmates and understood poori and kharabath was what they wanted to have for breakfast. So, they cooked the food on spot and served them piping hot. The volunteers also fed the ones who were not able to eat by themselves.
Some of the home-makers also came forward to make the cook and feed drive a success. They reached the hospital early in the morning to chop vegetables.
One of the volunteers of the drive was an autorickshaw driver named Mohammed Sharief who came along with his wife. While talking about his experience with Share A Smile, he told Bangalore Mirror: “I have been associated with Share A Smile for the last eight I am very happy to work with these volunteers. I also help poor patients to get medical help at hospitals. My friend Mansoor and I help to cremate or bury unclaimed bodies in the hospitals.”
Half of the world’s problem will be at bay if we all work towards helping each other at every step because love is what we all need. A small gesture can turn out to be a great initiative and we wish several other cooks and feed drives are organized in every city.
