All time favourite Panipuri can now be eaten in a hygienic way. Knowing the problem what people face while eating the panipuris on street and what the vendors normally do while selling the panipuris on the street, a team of fourth-year engineering students from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal University have built a prototype for India’s street food lovers.
Electrofoodies a team of Sunanda Somu, Karishma Agrawal, Neha Srivastava and Sahas Gembali have not only built this prototype but has also won the first prize at the national finale of Ink Makers held at T-Hub in Hyderabad. Teammates cum friends used to visit this local chaat wala near their college quite often. One day they placed an order and felt it took quite some time for their chance to come and out of curiosity they went and asked the chaat wala and found that he was short of manpower that day. he was trying very hard and was busy serving everyone in the line for panipuri. It was then these teammates could realise how serving panipuri could be a monotonous and a very repetitive task and that this process instead can be automated in order to tackle the problem and hygiene too.
There came the thought of making this panipuri automated machine, said Sahas. With help of this automated Panipuri, making Panipuris has now become very easy. One can make this anytime and anywhere.
With the help of this machine, Panipuri would be in great demand not only in India but in global market too. The machine is so easy to use and one can quickly make panipuri in no time. It has a control panel on the front and, since it is a vending machine, it releases the puris, makes the holes on the puris, fills it with the stuffing and pani, and all this at the push of a button.
It is ideal to be placed in malls. It also has an interesting additional feature of multiplayer mode where friends can challenge each other as the scores are maintained by this automated vending machine.
Isn't this interesting....Kudos to the makers of such a unique automated vending machine.
