There is no racing in the water. Water is devoid of color. It has no preference. When you think about it, all water does is provide life to all living things. That is the goal, and it is also our goal. All life forms are governed by their critical reliance on water. Water is essential for living, but why is it so?
Water is a symbol of knowledge, calm, and purity. Water's spiritual significance stems from its reflection of the human spirit and the interconnectedness of all creations.
Water is a symbol of cleanliness and cleaning in many civilizations. This is why it is often employed in purifying ceremonies in various religions around the world. Water from 'Holy' rivers is regarded sacred in Hinduism and is thought to have healing qualities. It is stated that drinking water from these rivers provides bodily and spiritual advantages to individuals who use it. Bathing in such rivers is seen as a cleansing rite that cleanses sins and provides spiritual refreshment. Similarly, Buddhism says that drinking or pouring water over a Buddha statue is a technique to cleanse the mind and soul. Water has a special position in human awareness, whether employed in purifying rites or related with the forces of life and afterlife.
There are several ways to consume water, according to Ayurveda:
Sit down-When you drink water while standing, fluids are drawn into your joints. However, when you drink water while seated, it reaches all of your organs.
With a 45-minute break-Sip water 45 minutes before and after eating. When you drink water before eating, it dilutes gastrointestinal enzymes and slows digestion. Excessive water consumption immediately after eating disrupts digestion and may lead to obesity.
Warm it up-Cold water interferes with digestion, whereas warm water enhances blood supply to organs and boosts metabolism.
In little sips-Taking little divided sips rather than large gulps strengthens the digestive system.
On an empty stomach- Drink warm water as soon as you wake up.
As Bruce Lee famously said: “Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
This represents the adaptability and changing character of water. To be like water, we must be fluid; we must adapt and evolve in response to our surroundings. Furthermore, we must assimilate the water's formless, tranquil, and mindful nature.
