Renowned worldwide for his colossal art installations, French artist Saype has unveiled his latest masterpiece. Nestled in the picturesque northwestern Italian region of Aosta, this awe-inspiring creation features a heartwarming portrayal of a child and an elderly individual, set against the backdrop of the Mont-Blanc's verdant slopes.

Saype, a self-taught artist, has etched his distinctive mark on diverse landscapes, from the iconic lawn of the United Nations headquarters to remote enclaves like a floating village in Benin. Yet, for his latest endeavor, he sought the tranquil embrace of Mont-Blanc, delivering a profound message of unity and harmony.

In his own words, Saype describes his artwork as a means to construct intergenerational bridges, bridging the chasm between the elderly, symbolizing wisdom and experience, and the youth, epitomizing the future and innocence. For him, this masterpiece serves as a poignant reminder to reconnect with nature.

Saype's artistic journey began in 2012 when he recognized that conventional graffiti could easily fade amid the modern society's pollution. Consequently, he transitioned his art into the realm of nature, transforming it into grand-scale creations, some spanning up to 10,000 square meters. Employing 100% biodegradable paint, he uses his art as a medium to convey messages of solidarity, addressing issues like the European migrant crisis and the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Saype’s next ambition is to embark on a worldwide mission in 2019, aiming to symbolically create the world's largest human chain by replicating his masterpiece in over 30 cities.
