Yes, there are waterfalls near Jaipur, although almost 100% of travelers believe that Rajasthan is a desert, which is not true.
If you are a local, add more waterfalls in or near Jaipur to the list below. you can visit and if you are a traveler visiting Jaipur or looking for waterfalls you will not be disappointed because I have shared my itinerary of 8 different waterfalls in Jaipur that you can visit especially during the monsoon season which is around August to September. And believe me, you will be as surprised as me when you come across amazing waterfalls near Jaipur. One of the great advantages of visiting Jaipur now is that the air around is very clear and fresh because of the rains and you can see greenery everywhere. Forts like Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, etc have a stunning backdrop of green hills and look so different and beautiful during monsoons. The bronze color of these forts and the greenery in the background can make the best photo scenery.
Damoh Falls ~
It is a 4-5 hour drive from Jaipur near Mehandipur Balaji Temple. It is a 300-foot-tall waterfall near Jaipur. which is quite a popular place to visit after a month.
When I reached this Damoh waterfall, I was amazed at its beauty as the area is full of lush forests and greenery. The water falls from a height of 300 feet in a single cascade of water and the wavy rock patterns through which the water falls are very picturesque. It's like a semicircular hole where the waterfalls. I saw tourists swimming in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. There are a lot of rocks here, so it can be slippery, so I suggest you be careful while climbing the rocks. The whole place is perfect for nature lovers. The waterfall is very close to the Chambal river which flows on the Madhya Pradesh border of Rajasthan. Damoh Falls is a natural waterfall and is a perfect place if you want to trek or hike in Rajasthan.
Garwa Falls ~
It is a 2-3 hour drive from Jaipur near the city of Alwar. The best thing about going to this waterfall is also that you pass through Sariska National Park which is famous for its tiger safari tour. Garwa Falls is also called Hidden Falls because many people don't know about it but the view of Garwaj Falls is enough to thrill you. The water falling from the rocks into the pool below is a very scenic sight, and the pool under the waterfall is also great for swimming. If you ever go there, you might not like so much water can be seen and the whole place is full of rocks and big boulders. If you are an experienced climber, you can climb these large rocks and reach the top of the waterfall.
NOTE. It is very difficult for children to step on the rocks and it is very slippery here.
is a famous temple near Alwar. But the waterfall here is even more famous. The place is full of rocks and is so scenic that it could look like a set for an adventure movie. There are many steps to reach the temple. Everywhere you look there are large boulders and jagged rocks. When the monsoon starts, it rains quite a lot here and you can see many waterfalls. However, the waterfall near Parish Dham is very scenic in itself. You can hire a taxi from Jaipur and reach here in about two hours. But the waterfall is near Alwar and it takes less than 2 hours to reach the waterfall. The area is covered with forest and Sariska National Park is also close to this waterfall. During the monsoon rains, the entire area is covered with greenery. The views from the temple above are spectacular.
Hathni Kund ~
It is a hiking trail near Jaipur. But during the three to four months of monsoon rains, the hills are filled with rivers that eventually lead to waterfalls. If you want to trek near Jaipur, there is nothing more exciting than a Hathni Kund trek. The Aravalli hills here look magnificent, especially during the monsoon rains. The mountains are a mixture of dense forests and cliffs. If you look closely at the rocks, they look like a scene from an American western movie. Hathni Kund Falls is a bit hidden and if you are a foreigner, you will need a guide or GPS navigation. watch the waterfall with your mobile phone. It is on the way to the famous Nahargarh Fort, which itself is one of the best trekking destinations in Jaipur. You can plan a trek to Nahargarh Fort and also pass by the waterfall. The word 'kund' means baor or well but there are almost vertical and very cliffs. The place can be full of hikers and can be quite a dangerous place during monsoons. There is a high probability of slipping on stones hidden on dense forest paths. There is an old Shiva temple near the Kund. The trail to this waterfall starts from Charan Mandir, which is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. You can also view the Jal Mahal from this vantage point. The height of the waterfall is quite high and you can also come here in a swimming suit if you want to take a dip in the water pool below the waterfall.
Marleshwar Mandir waterfall ~
We hardly ever think of waterfalls when we mention Jaipur. But there is one place in Jaipur, where you can visit a waterfall near a famous temple. That place is none other than Maleshwar Dham Mandir. The waterfalls that I am speaking of are close to the temple. You can come here during the off-season when there are no rain, and see the panoramic beauty of this place. The entire place is situated in a hilly region near Jaipur. Maleshwar Mandir is a very popular Shiva temple, which is visited by lakhs of people.
