Pune based musician, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt who is also known as a creator of Mohan Veena was seen performing in Pune city.
The Grammy award winner who is said to be the most versatile and expressive Veena player performed for a cause. The event held had no tickets.
Kasba Ganpati and The MDC Foundation came together for this event to provide grains to the people of a tribal village near Pune. The event named, Ek Moothi Dhanyachi was attended by many people who donated a minimum of Rs.20.
This amount is the cost of a packet that consists rice and pulses and serves as a meal for one person. This initiative shows us the humble souls India is blessed with who come forward and do their bit.
