Tarun Jami, the founder of GreenJams, is a pioneer in eco-friendly and sustainable construction materials. His latest invention, Agrocete, is a game-changer in the construction industry, reducing costs by 50% and increasing thermal insulation by 50%.
Tarun employed the knowledge he gained during his graduate years into coming up with Agrocrete — a product made of upcycled material. Agrocrete had the ability to reduce construction costs by 50 per cent while increasing thermal insulation by 50 per cent and cutting down on the time required for construction. The resulting bricks are lightweight, durable, and have excellent thermal insulation properties. Unlike traditional clay bricks, Agrocete does not require firing in a kiln, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint of the production process.
Jami's inspiration for Agrocete came from his experiences in India, where he saw firsthand the impact of inefficient building materials on the environment and people's health. He realized that sustainable construction materials could not only benefit the environment but also improve the quality of life for people living in poorly constructed homes.
