Tarun Mehta is the co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer based in Bangalore, India. Mehta graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with a degree in engineering. Along with his college friend Swapnil Jain, Mehta founded Ather Energy in 2013.

To achieve this, Ather Energy has set up AtherGrid, a public charging network, and is working with OEMs and energy storage providers to develop innovative solutions.
