Maharashtra govt has decided to develop a mobile app for the rickshaw drivers of Pune reducing the extra charges paid by customers.
Rickshaw drivers in Pune have a lot of tantrums for travelling short distances and overcharging the commuters.
To reduce this, Deputy regional transport officer, Sanjay Raut, said that a recent meeting with the state transport minister Diwakar Raote. The meeting concluded with the decision to introduce a mobile application for the rickshaws in Pune.
According to reports, four private companies already have mobile applications for rickshaws.
