Being legally blind did not stop Faith Snapp from pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. After getting admitted to the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine, her inspirational adventure continues.
According to Snapp, she and her twin brother had very low vision at birth and were born prematurely. Snapp's right eye can only perceive movement, and she has less than 10% field of vision. She claimed that while she has problems seeing far objects, her left eye is slightly better at recognizing forms, colors, and large text.
She never considered her restrictions to exist. In high school, she became a member of many groups and was given a guide dog. She added that working at neighborhood veterinary clinics was difficult at first because of her disability.
A quality to be noted about Faith's Personality ~ She is full of empathy towards Animals & she thinks about limitless possibilities to channel that. For humans, empathy—the capacity to comprehend and experience another person's feelings—is a complicated sensation. The concept of empathy, which is defined as "the ability to sense other people's emotions, coupled with the ability to imagine what someone else might be thinking or feeling," is crucial to comprehend for this reason. We become progressively less sensitive to the misery of other people as a result of the ceaseless onslaught of violence, death, and suffering in the media.
Since animals need our care, attention, and assistance, this can also be related to the human-animal link that many of us experience. We may naturally feel the same kind of passion for animals as we do for our children. Because they are incapable of simply helping themselves, we feel an irrational caring for them and a want to assist them. Adult humans are seen to be capable of standing up for their rights and protecting themselves when in danger.
Her Pursuit For Snaching The Ultimate Career Goal ~
In August, Snapp will begin classes. She stated that taking care of both big and small animals as a mixed-animal veterinarian is her ideal career.
Yes indeed, life is challenging. The world is evolving quickly. Many people feel as though things are spiraling out of hand. It's easy to give up on your dreams when circumstances outside of your control seem to be determining your fate. However, your present times are the moment more than ever to pursue those aspirations. Nobody ever begins their life feeling hopeless and miserable. Youngsters are full of aspirations and desires, but as we get older, life begins to get in the way. We grow to believe things that make us weaker. We experience setbacks and failures. Don't give up on your goals just yet, though. I believe it is extraordinary in what we do, not who we are. We all set out to make our marks to find adventure towards our success ~ but instead we should be thankful for all the hardships and volume of mistakes in our path of achieving purpose in life.
