A large number of visitors were drawn to a horticultural and floricultural show recently held in Kolhapur. The entrance to the show looked attractive with a colorful Clock Tower made of flowers which became a selfie point for visitors. Apart from the wide variety of vibrant and beautiful flowers, visitors also got information on beekeeping, bee boxes, vegetable carvings and vegetable cultivation.
Besides different flower arrangements of petunia, marigold, geraniums, red salvia, baby zinnia and salvia, the show had stalls of consumer goods, materials made from clay, ornamental fish and the like. A stall by the zilla panchayat showcased integrated waste management.
