An auto-rickshaw driver in Mumbai is gradually becoming the centre of all attention for his one-of-a-kind home system auto-rickshaw. The driver Satyawan Gite has incorporated most of the facilities and comforts of home that one can think of into his three-wheeler.

The rickshaw is equipped with most of the basic facilities like washbasin, mobile phone charging points, plants and even a desktop monitor. The motive behind this initiative, Satyawan says is his intent to provide the best services to his customers.

Customer In Mind

Satyawan’s unique rickshaw caters to the needs and comforts of his customers and provides them a homely environment. There are charging points for mobiles as well as the facility of clean drinking water. What more, he has decorated the interiors with plants too. There is also a mobile connect TV and one can listen to music via BlueTooth.  In his efforts to please customers, he has decided not to charge senior citizens up to a distance of one km. His rickshaw is also equipped with a cooler fan.

Social Media Attention

Satyawan Gite’s home system autorickshaw has garnered a lot of social media attention with celebrity producer and author Twinkle Khanna posting a photograph of his '101 per cent 1RK' auto on Instagram.  The humble driver himself is a great fan of Twinkle Khanna and was surprised and happy by her attention.

The genius Mumbai rickshaw also has catchy captions behind the vehicle such as -- 'Mumbai's first home system autorickshaw', 'The complete family entertainment' and 'Mumbai's favourite autorickshaw'. With a feeling of warmth and homeliness that this unique rickshaw exudes, it sure will score over the others.
