One of the most strong wrestlers in India, Vinesh Phogat, a 23-year-old from Haryana becomes India's first woman wrestler to win gold in Asian Games.
A proud moment for our country as it clinches it's first ever women's wrestling gold on Monday at the Asian Games 2018.
The Haryana girl was all set to win a gold with a lot of hard work and proper training. Earlier this year, she has also won a gold at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Country's Champion Wrestler and most decorated sportsperson Sushil Kumar is her idol. He boosts her and leaves a positive impact on her with his suggestions.
The gold certainly brings happiness to our country. As she becomes the first Indian woman wrestler who grabs gold in the history of Asian Games, Haryana Sports Minister Anil Vij announces a cash prize of ₹3 crore and an HCS/HPS job as an award for her outstanding performances.
