Yes, the pizza map now includes India!  Chef Susanna Di Cosimo, who oversees the cuisine at Pizzeria da Susy, writes on Instagram, saying, "We are extremely grateful to represent India on such a prestigious stage. This is an incredible honor for us."

The 50 Top Pizza Awards list, based in Naples, is subject to a stringent examination process. Each pizza is carefully inspected by almost a thousand anonymous examiners who rate everything from the atmosphere to the food. Una Pizza Napoletana in New York City topped the 2024 global pizza ranking, followed by Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria and I Masanielli in Naples and The Pizza Bar in Tokyo, which came in at number 38. Not usually linked with pizza, South Korea, Bolivia, and India make an appearance on the list, demonstrating the global spread of pizza culture !
