According to a recent McKinsey Health Institute survey from 2023, Turkey is the nation that promotes mental well-being at work the most, followed by India. India was awarded this crucial position in the global scene after assessments of its mental, physical, spiritual, and social health were conducted. Japan was deemed to be the least healthy country.
About the Survey:
The survey, conducted among more than 30,000 workers in 30 nations, has revealed significant disparities in the general well-being of the workforce worldwide. Japan received only 25% of the possible points, which put it at the bottom of the list despite its reputation for providing lifetime work and job stability. On the other hand, Turkey scored a high 78% to take first place, closely followed by China at 75% and India at 76%. The average worldwide was 57%.A significant correlation between fulfilling job experiences and overall health was found in the McKinsey survey. Positive work experiences were associated with enhanced job performance, greater levels of creativity, and better general well-being among employees.
