The Sikhs of Hyderabad have waited for a long course of time to visit the Gurudwara Sahib Baram Bala. And their dream has finally come true.
The gurudwara that was damaged during a lightning episode in 1950 was shut for almost 67 years. The Gurudwara committee since then dreamt of rebuilding it. The proposal to rebuild came to shape finally and inauguration coincides with the 388th birthday celebrations of Guru Hari Rai Sahib.
The new Gurudwara can accommodate 4000 devotees and is said to be the largest Gurudwara in Telangana. The gurudwara also has a spacious langar hall where over 3000 devotees can partake food.
