Takeaway From the Story ~ Versatility As a Virtue Of Brilliance
Versatility: Being versatile means that you are ready to respond to the constantly shifting and rapidly changing external dynamics by gaining the necessary skill sets, exploring new areas of knowledge, solving mysteries, leaving your comfortable bubble, accepting reality, and, to the greatest extent possible, being prepared to accept change before it makes you obsolete, ineffective, and possibly even useless.
Even in the business and commerce sectors, the only organizations that have not only survived but also grown and prospered are those that have adjusted to the changing times.
The necessity is to adjust to the changing environment, which is changing at an accelerated rate and tends to overcome even the most agile and intelligentsia-like people unless, at the very least, they can adjust to it before it overtakes them. To escape the true shame of becoming lost and put in the notorious defeatist group, one must possess the insight to be able to predict it.
