Sweet lovers can rejoice as the first ever World Sweet Festival is being held in Hyderabad. This event is organized by the Telangana government and sweet lovers can partake of sweets made not only in various parts of India but they can also relish sweets from different parts of the world.
As per reports, sweets from around 15 foreign countries and 25 Indian states will be available at the event, which will be prepared locally by members of various associations. According to the tourism and cultural secretary B Venkatesam, the sweet festival is being organized to showcase the cosmopolitan nature of Hyderabad in a sweet way
