For those who are interested in environmental activities and want to spend their time in such activities, here’s a good news for those living in Nagpur. Mahametro will develop an eco-park near Mihan Depot which will increase the non-fare revenue. This eco-park scheduled to come in the orange city will have attractions like agro-tourism zone, entertainment zone, butterfly and rare orchid center, wetland ecological zone and urban forest zone. A club house and market for the shoppers will also be a part of this eco park. They also include the Indian Institute Of Management (IIM), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patanjali food park and the exciting Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) ground, "a source at Mahametro said.
While the total cost of this park is yet to be decided it will spread over 38,000 square meters. Being a part of Mahametro’s property development scheme this park is expected to increase the non-fare revenue by 10 per cent. This eco-park will surely benefit to increase the non-fare revenue at the same time will give the Nagpur resident a unique place to visit. With various environment related attraction it will surely attract those environment enthusiasts who love to spend some time amidst nature.
