"Dream, Dream, Dream! Conduct these dreams into thoughts, and then transform them into action."

We slog throughout the week and wait for the weekend to let loose. People start planning for a house party or a get together right from the mid-week but, how many times have we thought of dedicating the Saturdays and Sundays to someone who needs love and affection the most? Getting involved in social works can not only benefit society but, can also help you grow as a person.
I love pampering myself on the weekends and I have felt stress-free every time I did so as it helps me go to work with a fresh mind. But I did something totally different on a Sunday and felt extremely good about it.
I was once scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed and came across a post regarding a rally to spread awareness about animal cruelty. It immediately caught my eyes and I decided to be a part of it. I contacted one of the organizers of the rally and confirmed that I will be there.
The rally was held on a Sunday and I was ready to give up on my leisure time to protest against animal abuse. More than 2000 people stormed the roads and all of us protested until the rally concluded.
That was the first rally that I attended and since that day onwards I started doing something or the other to generate awareness about animal cruelty. I have interviewed animal activists and spread their messages across people. Looking at my endeavour, unknown people have even directly messaged me on social media and appreciated my work. It feels great to be a part of a change.
It's obvious that all of us need some time out to keep the stress at bay but, at the same time, your good deeds for the society can help it thrive.
