Well, the recruitment drive of Delhi police has started. Since, the Delhi Police comes under the Union home ministry, the recruitment is based across India. In an action plan drafted to hire 3115 men and 1554 women with an eligibility set of minimum higher secondary pass, the gates are open for Gujarat. For the first time, citizens all over Gujarat including Daman, Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli can apply for the post of constables.  The physical test would be conducted at Shahibaug stadium of Ahmedabad, while several centres will be allotted for written test conducted in March, 2017. The online forms are open to fill and the last date would be October 10.  The set of criteria are slightly relaxed for SC/STs and OBCs while keeping this an open platform.
