It was a moment of jubilation for Chetan Bajad, the son of a driver who works at the Indore court, when he realized that he has cracked the civil judge class-II recruitment test. The 26-year-old man faced many challenges to achieve this meritorious feat.
Bajad said that his father Govardhanlal Bajad is his role model. Govardanlal Bajad works as a driver with the Indore district court while his father (Chetan's grandfather) Hariram Bajad retired as a watchman from the same court. It was his father’s dream to see one of his three sons become a judge. Chetan Bajad made his dream come true by securing 13th rank in Other Backward Class (OBC) category in the civil judge class-II recruitment test by scoring 257.5 out of the total 450 marks in the written examination and interview. The result was announced by the examination centre of Jabalpur-based Madhya Pradesh High Court.
Bajad has graduated in law. To prepare for the civil judge recruitment test, he would go to the library at 8 am and return only in the evening at around 9 pm after a day's hard work. His mother who would wait for him for dinner is now happy beyond words.
Bajad said that when he would take charge of the judge’s chair, his priority will be to deliver speedy justice to the people. He added that he would discharge his duties honestly and set an example for society.
Here’s wishing him good luck for a bright future!
