One such inspiring tale is that of Sandeep Kumar, a native of Dumaria in the Gaya district. Sandeep, hailing from a humble background, became the first IITian in his locality. Overcoming numerous challenges, including a lack of road connectivity and frequent shutdowns enforced by Maoists, Sandeep completed his B. Tech in mechanical engineering from IIT Mumbai. He recently secured the 697th position in the civil services examination, instilling hope in the hearts of youth residing in Naxal-infested areas.

Renu Kumari from Goh in Aurangabad district and Vikram from a Naxal-dominated area both earned admission into prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee, respectively.
